Remember flipping through photo albums as a little kid?

They weren’t anything fancy, just photos in a book, but sure did they mean a lot. And I’m sure they still do.

When was the last time that you looked through photo albums from your childhood? How did that make you feel? I bet there were some warm fuzzies and smiles that occurred.

Those days are not gone. There is a way to create a beautiful album for your child to look through. And it will create the same warm-fuzzies you had as a kid.

I just so happen to create beautiful high-quality heirloom albums from your sessions. These heirloom albums can contain images from one or more shoots. They have thick pages and a beautiful cover in the color of your choice.

I design distraction-free free to help your images be the stars of your album. The layout of each spread displays a variety of images that flow well together.

So you might be thinking, “How does this process work?” It’s actually quite simple.

First, let me know you want an album. I can’t read your mind, so this step is very important. I will send you a pricing guide and questionnaire. These will help guide you through the processes of picking out the size, and cover options.

Then I will design each page layout for you, and you will receive a proof of your album within 3 business days. You then have the opportunity for revisions. Did I leave an image out? Let me know and I’ll fix it. Or I put one in that isn’t your favorite? I can make as many revisions to the design as you would like.

That’s pretty much it! All you have to do is pay the invoice and wait for your beautiful family heirloom to show up at your door within a week. It’s a fast process

We’ve talked about all the warm fuzzy feelings it will create and the easy ordering process. Now, let’s talk about the technical details.

Covers

25 leather options

15 linen options

4 Suede options

8 velvet options

Once you choose the material for your cover there are a few more options. One is that you can add embossed text to the cover. Or you can have an illustrated design printed on the cover. You will answer all these in the questionnaire. Click here to see the color options.

Pages

This has to be my favorite part of the heirloom albums I offer. These pages are gorgeous! They lay flat from edge to edge ensuring that your images dip into the binding. Pages are thick, sturdy, and printed on Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper. It is the most popular paper used by professional photographers. It boasts accurate color, realistic saturation, excellent neutral flesh reproduction, and great intensity. Its Standard Archival Value of 100 years in home display; 200 years in dark storage.

Design

As I said before I create albums with beautiful and simple designs. There’s only your images and white space. This allows your images to be seen and cherished without the distraction. I do not add different backgrounds or embellishments. Typically I have at least one spread that is only 1-3 images, where one image takes up most of the spread.

Storage

The album will be delivered in a strong and study box. It is a simple grey box that is great for storage. You can order a custom wood box with your album starting at $60. The Custom Wood Album Box features a printed image or etched design on the wooden, metal or acrylic lid. Fitted for square albums only (i.e. 8×8, 10×10, 12×12).

You don’t have to store these beautiful albums in a box if you don’t want to. They’ll also look beautiful on your coffee table or on your bookshelf. Images need to be seen, so please don’t lock this beauty up never looking at them again.

Want to know another great thing about these Heirloom albums? The images used in each album and can be from any or all your past sessions. How great would it be to have your child’s first year printed in a beautiful album? And knowing that album is going to be sturdy enough to be around for their grandchildren to flip through?
